Nelle Tobias Collection

An Idaho pioneer descendant, Nellie Tobias was well known in early Idaho history and Archaeoloogy.  She was one of the first people to write about the petroglyphs along the Snake River in Ada, Canyon and Owyhee Counties.

Donated in 1977, items include moccasins from Fort Hall, Pueblo pottery from New Mexico, textiles from Mexico and Peru and many other beautiful items.
