Students may find many opportunities to engage in original scientific research.
Many courses include short independent research opportunities as part of the course laboratory, including:

Class related research project results may be seen by navigating the side bar.
Becoming a member of a research team is possible in the Research Techniques courses (BIO-395/495). Results of these research projects may lead to publication in a scientific journal.
