Personal Statement

Michael has over 10 years experience working on a variety of multimedia design and animation projects including:
• Art-directing scoreboard animations for the Utah Jazz, Portland Trailblazers, and Houston Rockets;
• Pre-visualizing designs for the USU Energy Labs and iFrogz; and
• Developing 3D environments and characters for teaching math concepts and training firefighters.

I like to make art. I like multimedia, computers, and technology. The fusion of these things lead me to a career in and teaching graphic design and animation.

Michael enjoys illustration and was once offered a spot as a defender on a professional soccer team in the United Kingdom. His wife Brita and he have two children.
