In March of 2013, The College of Idaho Chamber Singers will travel to Carnegie Hall in New York City to participate in a performance with choral composer Eric Whitacre.  The Chamber Singers were selected by audition to be one of the featured ensembles in the Distinguished Concerts International New York City (DCINY) concert series.  The Chamber Singers will join with other top choristers from throughout the country in an intensive three-day rehearsal and performance experience with Whitacre, a noted choral composer, and conductor.

Dr. Jonathan Griffith, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor for DCINY stated: “The Chamber Singers at the College of Idaho received this invitation because of the quality and high level of musicianship demonstrated by the singers.”

The Chamber Singers are thrilled at this once in a lifetime experience!
