Mission Statement
The Education Department at The College of Idaho is an Educative Community committed to improving student learning in K-12 classrooms by preparing educators with a passion for life-long learning and who have a thorough knowledge of content, educational theory, and best practice. The department collaborates with K-12 practitioners, professional organizations, community members, and policy makers to improve the preparation of new educators, as well as to support the professional development of practitioners.
