Honors Fellowships and ScholarshipsAll of the awards listed below are nationally competitive and are appropriate for students demonstrating the highest levels of excellence in academics. Most are also geared to provide support for graduate level study or research leading to advanced degrees beyond the B.A./B.S., although some - notably the Goldwater, Truman, and National Security Education Program - are designed to provide support during the undergraduate years.
If you believe you have the credentials to successfully apply (a 3.5 GPA should usually be considered an absolute minimum requirement, a 3.7 GPA preferred), please do not hesitate to contact the faculty member listed with each award (but please read the materials and explore the links provided before doing so). If you decide to apply, please look at the Wesleyan Grants and Fellowships Guide for advice on writing a strong application and START EARLY! It is difficult to produce a strong application with only a few weeks of preparation.
