Rotary International awards three scholarships to students in Idaho schools or students from the state of Idaho attending school in other states. The scholarships cover travel, tuition, educational and living expenses for one year of study in any foreign country in which there is a Rotary International club. An applicant is expected to be comfortable in the language of the country in which the study will occur. The study can be either undergraduate or graduate. The goal of the scholarship is to promote understanding and friendly relations between the United States and the host nation and an ability to present these to citizens of other countries.
