MLA International Bibliography

MLA is an extensive index to journal articles, books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference papers. Subjects covered include literature from all over the world, folk literature, folk music, folk art, folk rituals and beliefs systems, linguistics, translation, literary theory and criticism, film, radio, television, theater, rhetoric and composition.  Indexing begins in 1963. Interlibrary loan requests may be placed directly from MLA.

JSTOR provides access to full-text archives of several journals in the field of literature.

Project MUSE

Project MUSE provides the full text of several titles in the field of literature.

Oxford Journals

Oxford provides the full-text, 1996-present, of several titles in Literary Studies, including English, Essays in Criticism, Literary Imagination and Year's Work in English Studies. Access to ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment will begin in 2010.
