Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library organization at The College of Idaho's N. L. Terteling Library helps to enhance the development of the library's collection and provides a means for members of the community to borrow from the library's collection and utilize the library's other services.

Benefits

Members of the Friends of the Library have the following benefits:

Borrowing privileges at the N. L. Terteling Library

Interlibrary loan service

In-library access to the library's online subscription databases

Membership Categories

Choose the membership category best suited to your needs:

Individual $30 annually
Couple (Individual + Significant Other) $50 annually

Under Internal Revenue Service guidelines the estimated value of the benefits received is not substantial; therefore, the full amount of your membership is a deductible contribution.

To Join

To join, print out and complete the enrollment form (PDF) and send it with your check made payable to "Friends of the Terteling Library" to:

Gifts

Memorial contributions are a practical and gracious way to pay lasting tribute to a loved one. You may request that a book or books be added to the N. L. Terteling Library in memory of a person you designate. Each book will bear a memorial bookplate inside its front cover.

Other gifts to the library are always welcome. However, we are only able to accept materials that strengthen and augment our collection.

All gifts are tax deductible, though the library is prohibited by law from appraising donations or assigning monetary value to your gift.

If you are interested in making a gift to the library, please contact Christine Schutz by e-mail or telephone at 208-459-5524.
