Alpha Psi Omega
National Theatre Honorary Dramatic Society

The National Society, Its Aims and Purposes

Alpha Psi Omega was organized as an honorary dramatic fraternity for the purpose of providing an honor society for those doing a high standard of work in dramatics and, through the expansion of Alpha Psi Omega among other colleges and universities, provide a wider fellowship for those interested in the theatre. The Fraternity is not intended to take the place of the
regular dramatic club or other producing groups, but as students qualify, they are rewarded by election to membership in this society. Play production is an activity so highly technical that it requires the services of a trained association organized on the most democratic basis where every member of a student body may have equal opportunity for expression.
