Visionary Scholars Program

The College of Idaho Visionary Scholars Program was established in recognition of the rich history of our accomplished graduates, including seven Rhodes Scholars, three state governors, a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian, an Academy Award-winning composer, distinguished scientists and entrepreneurs. The Visionary Scholarship is a $10,000 annual, renewable scholarship that assists the visionaries of tomorrow as they chart their individualized course of study at The College of Idaho. We invite you to nominate students who meet the following criteria:

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA through 7 semesters of high school
  • Minimum 22 ACT composite or 1030 SAT score (critical reading and math)
  • Resident of New England (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, and NY), Colorado, Hawaii, or California

To compete for a Visionary Scholarship, students must complete an application to The College of Idaho, as well as write a 500-word essay that describes how attending the C of I will help achieve their vision.
