College of Idaho alumni know that they can make a direct and dramatic difference in the lives of tomorrow’s leaders, artists, scientists, entrepreneurs and scholars by consistently supporting The College. The generosity and devotion of alumni is an important component of the C of I’s tradition of philanthropy, and may be expressed in a number of ways:
Annual gifts to the Boone Fund are immediately available, unrestricted funds for The College’s ongoing operating needs. From financial aid and faculty support to research and facilities maintenance, Boone Fund gifts are absolutely vital to the C of I. In fiscal year 2010-2011, alumni provided nearly $1 million in unrestricted support.
Many graduates choose to commemorate their reunions with a gift in support of today’s students. These collective contributions provide program enhancements that make an immediate difference at The College.
Planned gifts provide an opportunity to structure future gifts in ways that are beneficial to the donor and to The College of Idaho.
The College’s Advance The Legacy campaign embodies a set of specific campus priorities that address our founders’ twin visions of access and achievement and that, taken together, will enable The College of Idaho to build on its tradition of providing extraordinary opportunities for learning, discovery and service.
