Fourth
season with the Coyotes…one of the top goalkeepers in Albertson
College history…has logged every minute in goal the past three
seasons, earning three All-Cascade Conference and NAIA Region I awards,
and back-to-back honorable mention All-American honors…has a
remarkable 23 career shutouts, 1.04 career GAA, and a 46-18-2 record in
goal…led the Cascade Conference with a 1.04 GAA in 2001, with seven
shutouts…ranked ninth in the NAIA as a sophomore with a 0.82 GAA, with
ten shutouts, including a stretch of over 200 scoreless minutes…a 1999
graduate of Viewmont HS, Steele earned All-Region honors during his
junior and senior seasons…named team defensive MVP his final three
years as a prep…was among the Who’s Who in High School
Students…studying marketing…parents Wayne and Susan Steele…born
June 12, 1981.
