Volleyball Tournament Game 4

No. 1 Albertson def. No. 5 Concordia 30-21, 30-22, 30-20

CALDWELL, Idaho - Kathryn Ely recorded a season-high 21 kills as the Albertson College volleyball team advanced to the championship game of Cascade Conference Volleyball Tournament with a 30-21, 30-22, 30-20 victory over Concordia at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The No. 8 ranked Coyotes (28-2) extended their overall win streak to 15-games, their home court win streak to 20-in-a-row, and the record against non-ranked teams to 40-in-a-row.

The Cavaliers (13-14), who upset fourth-seeded Northwest earlier in the day, got 11 kills from Erin Murphy, but hit .068 as a team as the Yotes amassed 11 team blocks.

Anne Parker had 12 kills and three blocks and Katie Zillner added nine kills and five blocks in the win.  Setter Erin Cherrington had 51 assists and eight digs, with Catherine Everist adding 23 digs.

ACI will meet Southern Oregon in tomorrow's championship game at 7 p.m., while Concordia will meet Oregon Tech in the third-place game at 4 p.m.
