Five members of The College of Idaho women's basketball team were honored by the NAIA after the conclusion of the national tournament in Sioux City, Iowa.
Nicole Gall led the way, earning Third-Team All-America honors after a standout season in helping the Lady Yotes to their second-straight Cascade Conference title. Gall averaged nearly 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals per game, becoming just the second player in C of I history to eclipse the 1,000 point mark for a career in just two seasons. It is the second such award for the Boise native, as she was an honorable mention selection in 2009.
Gall was also one of five players named to the Daktronics/NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete Team. Sisters Kayla Isham and Katee Brewer were honored for the second-straight season, with Katie Strunk and Brianna Hansen earning the award - given to student-athletes with a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and at least a junior status academically.
