BASEBALL RECEIVES VOTES IN POLL: The ACI baseball team earned 14 votes in the NAIA Baseball Preseason Poll, good enough for a No. 34 ranking to begin the 2007 season.  The Coyotes (36-20 last year) are coming off a solid 2006 season in which they placed second at the NAIA Region I Tournament.  ACI return a solid nucleus of a squad, including All-American shortstop, Casey Oliver, All-American catcher, Pat Burke, and All-American pitcher, Jason Roach.

SWIMMING IDLE: The Coyote swimmers are idle this week, preparing for next weekend’s Northwest Invitational, hosted by Pacific Lutheran.

VOLLEYBALL (33-2): Lady Yotes repeat as NAIA Regional champs, receive Pool Play assignment at NAIA Nationals

COMING UP: at NAIA Volleyball National Championships, Columbia, Mo., Nov. 29-Dec. 2 – vs. No. 25 Cedarville (Ohio), 11/29, 1:30 p.m. (CST); vs. No. 17 Lee (Tenn.), 11/29, 6 p.m. (CST); vs.  No. 4 Cal Baptist, 11/30, 8:15 p.m. (CST)

LAST WEEK: hosted NAIA Region I Volleyball Tournament – vs. Montana Tech (W 3-1), vs. Carroll (W 3-0), vs. Westminster (W 3-0), vs. Great Falls (W 3-1).

LADY YOTES REPEAT AS REGIONAL CHAMPS: With four consecutive victories last week, the ACI volleyball team earned their second-consecutive NAIA Region I Volleyball Tournament championship.  The Lady Yotes knocked off the top-four seeds in the Frontier Conference during the weekend, improving their record to 33-2 on the season.  With the victory come the spoils – as ACI earned their third NAIA Volleyball National Championships berth in school history, and the second-straight year that the Yotes have advanced to nationals.

ABOUT THE NAIA CHAMPIONSHIPS: The event, held this year in Columbia, Mo. (on the campus of Columbia College), is the 27th-consecutive year that the NAIA has sponsored a national championship in women’s volleyball.  A total of 20 teams are in the tournament – 13 teams who won their respective regional tournament, five at-large teams (based on strength of conference schedule), one wild-card team (based on overall record, regional performance), and a berth to the host school.  The teams are split into five Pools of four teams (for round-robin competition), with the winner of each Pool receiving a spot in the national quarterfinals (along with the second-place team in Pool E – the most difficult Pool).  The second-place teams in Pools A-D and B-C will meet in a playoff to determine the other two teams into the quarterfinal bracket.  The remainder of the tournament is single-elimination.

SEEDED SEVENTH, POOL D: Unlike in the past, the Lady Yotes have been seeded into the tournament, earning the No. 7 seed by the NAIA Volleyball Coaches Association.  ACI was put into Pool D – joined by No. 4 seeded Cal Baptist, and unseeded Lee (Tenn.) and Cedarville (Ohio).

HISTORY AT NATIONALS: 2006 marks the third time the Lady Yotes have advanced to the NAIA Championships – making other trips in 2000 and 2005.  The 2000 tournament was held in Palm Beach, Fla., with ACI going 1-3 in their Pool Play matches (defeating Broomfield (N.J.), but losing to Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.), St. Mary’s (Neb.), and Madonna (Mich.).  Last year’s tournament was held in San Diego, Calif., with the Yotes going 2-2 in the Pool Play matches (defeating Georgetown (Ky.) and Lee (Tenn.), while losing to Houston Baptist (Texas) and Fresno Pacific (Calif.).  ACI has an overall record of 3-5 at the NAIA Championships.

CHERRINGTON NAMED REGIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR: ACI setter Erin Cherrington (Granby, Colo. / Middle Park HS) was named Sunday the NAIA Region I Player of the Year, after balloting by the 18 regional coaches following this weekend's regional tournament.  The senior helped the Coyotes to their first-ever Cascade Conference regular-season title, and was the catalyst behind ACI winning back-to-back CCC and NAIA Region I Tournaments.  She is just the second Coyote to earn the honor - as Kristyn Price won the same award during the 2002 season.  Cherrington leads the NAIA in assists per game average (13.89) this season, while setting the ACI all-time record for assists in a career (5,091).  She is also in the top-five all-time in ACI digs (1,083) and aces (189), while earning Setter of the Week honors 15 times in her career, including seven times in 2006.

MENDIOLA COACH OF THE YEAR: Also earning kudos was Coyote head coach, Liz Mendiola.  The sixth-year skipper was named Regional Coach of the Year after helping ACI break the school record for wins in a season.  Mendiola adds this hardware to her trophy case - as she was named CCC Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2006.

OTHER REGIONAL AWARD WINNERS: Also earning regional honors were teammates Katie Hogue (Sparks, Nev. / Reed HS) and Anne Parker (Pocatello, Idaho / Century HS).  Hogue was a first-team selection, while Parker was an honorable mention pick.  Hogue, a middle blocker, has had a big year for ACI, leading the Cascade Conference in hitting percentage (.378), blocks per game (1.29), and aces per game (0.54).  She needs just 19 kills to become the sixth Coyote to reach the 1,000 kill plateau, and just nine blocks to reach 400 for her career.  Parker, a right side hitter, has been a big cog in the Coyote attack in 2006.  She ranks fourth in the league in hitting percentage (.304) and blocks per game (1.01) - while leading the way with 17 kills and seven blocks in the regional final victory over Great Falls.

STREAKS GALORE FOR THE YOTES: Impressive numbers dot the landscape of the 2006 volleyball season for ACI, as the Lady Yotes have multiple streaks still alive.  ACI has won a school-record 20 matches in a row, have won a school-record 25-consecutive matches at home, dating back to last season, and has won 45-consecutive matches against teams not ranked in the national poll (or others’ receiving votes).

NATIONAL RANKING: The Yotes were ranked No. 8 in the final NAIA volleyball poll of the regular-season, released last week by the national office in Olathe, Kan.. – equaling the highest ranking in program history. Six others – No. 1 National American (S.D.), No. 5 Columbia (Mo.), No. 17 Lee (Tenn.), No. 25 Cedarville (Ohio), Lindenwood (Mo.) and Southern Oregon, are among the ACI opponents (or opponents to be) this season in the Top-25 and others receiving votes.

PREVIOUS RANKINGS: The Coyotes have been ranked in the Top-25 on 17 occasions in program history – the second (No. 24) and third (No. 19) polls of the 1997 season, the preseason (No. 15) and first poll (No. 19) of the 2001 season, the final poll during the 2005 season (No. 24), the 2006 preseason poll (No. 16), and all 11  rankings this year.

MENDIOLA ADDS TO HER WINS RECORD: With the Lady Yotes victory over Cedarville (Ohio) on Sept. 23, ACI volleyball coach Liz Mendiola became the all-time winningest volleyball coach in program history.  While at ACI, Mendiola has posted a 132-54 record (.710 win percentage) - six-straight Cascade Conference tournament appearances, three NAIA Region I tournament appearances, the 2005 and 2006 CCC and NAIA Region I tourney titles, the 2006 CCC regular-season title, along with a trips to the 2005 and 2006 NAIA Championships.

HOME SWEET HOME: Under Mendiola, the Lady Yotes are 66-12 in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center, an .846 winning percentage.  They are even better in CCC play, holding a 45-8 mark (.849 percent) since the 2001 season.

BEST SEASON EVER: The 33-2 mark by the Lady Yotes has shattered all season records.  In recent years, the 1997 and 2005 teams opened the season with 7-3 marks (best ten-game mark), while the 2005 squad opened with a 12-3 (best 15-game mark), 16-4 (best 20-game mark), 20-5 (best 25-game mark), and 25-5 (best 30-game mark) start to a season.  ACI finished the year a perfect 18-0 at home (second time the Yotes have gone unbeaten at home) and a perfect 11-0 on the road this year (not including neutral court matches).  The win total has eclipsed the former record for wins in a season – as the 1981 team, led by ACI Hall of Famer Lerna Thames and coached by Don Braunecker, went 30-11.

RECORD BOOK: It has already happened, but it is inevitable that the ACI record books will continue to be rewritten.  Currently, five players are already among the all-time top-ten.  Katie Hogue ranks No. 3 all-time with 391 blocks (five from second-place), No. 6 with 127 aces, and No. 7 with 981 kills (needing 19 kills to become the sixth player to reach the 1,000 kill plateau).  Erin Cherrington holds the all-time record with 5,091 assists, is third with 189 aces, is No. 4 in games played (446), and is No. 5 with 1,083 digs.  Also on the list are Tiffany Sower (Eagle, Idaho / Eagle HS,  who is fifth all-time with 141 aces, Anne Parker, who is fifth in blocks with 289 and tenth in kills with 696, and Kathryn Ely (La Grande, Ore. / La Grande HS), who is No. 9 in kills with 784.

YOTES STOP MONTANA TECH: Katie Hogue recorded a season-high 19 kills as the Coyotes shook off a rusty Game 2 to top Montana Tech, 30-22, 26-30, 30-24, 30-21 in their regional tournament opener.  After winning Game 1, the Yotes sprinted out to a 12-5 edge in Game 2, only to watch the Orediggers of Butte, Mont. rally.  Four CoreyAnne Russell kills helped Tech tie the score at 18-18 and the Diggers tallied the final four points of the game on Kristi Witt's serve - handing ACI their first game loss on their home court this season.  The Yotes however, controlled the tempo in Games 3 and 4, getting five Katie Zillner (Emmett, Idaho / Chicago State U.) kills in each game to run their home win streak to 22.  Zillner had 18 kills, while Kristin Henning (Boise, Idaho / Boise HS) and Kathryn Ely each had ten.  Erin Cherrington led the way with 59 assists, with Catherine Everist (Portland, Ore. / Chicago State U.) recording a game-high 31 digs.

BIG WIN OVER CARROLL: Kathryn Ely led the way with 13 kills as the Coyotes defeated Carroll College 30-22, 30-22, 30-20 in their second Pool Play match on Thursday. ACI rode their offensive attack, recording a .362 hitting percentage against the Saints, the Frontier Conference Tournament champions.  Kristin Henning had 12 kills and three blocks, and Katie Zillner added ten in the win.  Erin Cherrington recorded 47 assists, four aces, and 12 digs, Stacie Drumm (Salem, Ore. / South Salem HS)  had 17 digs, and libero Catherine Everist had 20 digs.

SECOND WIN OVER WESTMINSTER: Three Yotes recorded double figure kills as the No. 8 ranked Coyotes defeated Westminster College 30-24, 30-24, 30-17 to move into the championship game regional tournament on Friday night.  The Yotes led from start to finish, never allowing the Griffins to take a lead.  After winning a see-saw Game 1, ACI jumped out to 9-3 and 9-2 leads in the final two games to notch the win.  Kathryn Ely led the Yotes with 13 kills, with Katie Hogue adding 12 and Anne Parker recording 11.  Erin Cherrington recorded 51 assists in the match, going over the 5,000-assist mark in her career, with libero Catherine Everist recording 29 digs.

YOTES STOP GREAT FALLS TO WIN TITLE: Anne Parker had a monster match, recording 17 kills and seven blocks, as the Lady Yotes won their second-straight NAIA Region I Championship with a 30-27, 26-30, 30-24, 30-24 victory over the University of Great Falls in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center on Saturday afternoon.  With the win, the No. 8 ranked Lady Yotes clinched an automatic berth to the NAIA Volleyball Championships, to be played in Columbia, Mo. Nov. 29-Dec. 2.  Parker came up huge in the final two games, recording 11 kills from her right-side position.  She was helped by Erin Cherrington, who had 59 assists and eleven digs.

YOTES TAKE 4-0 RECORD TO SALT LAKE CITY: After taking home championships of the first two tournaments of the season, the Coyotes head this weekend to Salt Lake City for their final preseason tournament of the 2006-07 season – the Westminster Thanksgiving Classic.  It is the seventh consecutive season that ACI has traveled to the Beehive State for a tournament in the Sugar House neighborhood, with the Yotes compiling a 10-4 mark.  Last season, the Coyotes dropped a pair of games at the tourney for the first time, falling to Westminster and Lubbock Christian.  This year, the Purple and Gold will be playing for the first time in the new Doris Eccles Center, the new gymnasium on the Westminster campus.

MORE ON THE 4-0 START: ACI is off to their best start in five seasons, when Mark Owen led his 2001-02 squad to a 5-0 start.  Including this year, ten teams since the 1932-33 season have began 4-0, with the 1998-99 and 2001-02 squads going 5-0.  The 1991-92 team went 6-0 to start the season, with the 1958-59 and 1984-85 team – which Owen was a member of as a player, began 7-0.   The best start by a Coyote team was the 1995-96 NAIA Division II national championship squad that began the year, 8-0.

ABOUT CARROLL COLLEGE: ACI will open up tournament play on Friday night, meeting Carroll College for the second-straight season.  The Fighting Saints (6-2) are coming off a quarterfinal appearance at the 2006 NAIA Division I national tournament, but lost four starters from that squad.  Gary Turcott’s club is led by guards Dallas Leslie (15.1 ppg) and Eric Henkel (12.5 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 2.8 apg), and posts Kellen Hasquet (13.5 ppg, and Gage Brumwell (10.4 ppg, 5.2 rpg).  ACI dropped a season-opening 81-71 decision to Carroll last year, but defeated the Saints 82-52 in their last meeting in Salt Lake, that coming in 2001.  It is the 23rd meeting between the teams since 1954, with the all-time series tied at 11-11.

REMATCH WITH WESTMINSTER: Saturday, host Westminster will get a second crack at the Coyotes, after dropping a tough 83-80 decision to ACI at the Golden Rule Shoot-Out.  The Griffins (3-4), ranked No. 13 in the NAIA Division I preseason poll, have been banged up with injuries – as All-American point-guard Danny Reeder (11.6 ppg, 4.5 apg) has been slowed by shin splints and All-American post Nick Booth (11.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg) has been slow to recover from a knee injury.  ACI dropped a 92-85 decision to Westminster in Salt Lake last year, but holds a 16-13 all-time series edge, dating back to 1947.

AMONG THE NAIA’S BEST: Through the first three weeks of the NAIA basketball season, the Coyotes are among the nation’s best in multiple categories.  As a team, ACI leads the NAIA in turnover margin, forcing 17 more turnovers than they commit per game.  The Yotes rank second in the nation in scoring average (103.5) and steals per game (17.7), while ranking third for three-pointers made per game (12).  Individually, Ike Stafford (Auburn, Wash. / Salt Lake CC) leads the NAIA in three-pointers made per game (5.5) and is fourth in the nation in scoring average (24.8 ppg).  Also in the Top-5 nationally are guards Josh Owen (Caldwell, Idaho / Vallivue HS) and Donnel Garner (Scottsdale, Ariz. / Chaparral HS), who are tied for fifth, averaging three steals per game.

BIGGEST WIN EVER VS. WILLAMETTE: Ike Stafford led six Coyotes in double figures with 19, as ACI recorded their most lopsided victory ever against Willamette University, topping the Bearcats 116-77 in the opening game of the 20th Annual Duane Wolfe Memorial Golden Rule Shoot-Out on Friday night.  After the two teams traded baskets in the first four minutes, the Yotes used a 13-0 run, fueled by treys from Josh Owen, Ike Stafford, and Donnel Garner to jump out to a 27-12 lead and were never threatened.  ACI forced 29 turnovers in the win, while connecting on 54-percent of their field goal opportunities.  Freshmen Anton Coleman (Las Vegas, Nev. / Eldorado HS) and Garner each had 15 points, Owen and J.R. Maggard (Caldwell, Idaho / Vallivue HS) each had 12, with Kurt Nielson (Rexburg, Idaho / Eastern Utah CC) recording 11.  The 39-point margin was the biggest winning spread and the 116 points scored were the most scored ever by the Coyotes in the 110-game series between the schools, dating back to 1933 – with the previous mark coming in a 107-72 victory over the Bearcats in 1984.

POINTS IN THE NEW GYM: The 116 points scored by the Coyotes on Friday night was the second-highest total ever by an ACI team in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.  Since the gym opened in 1991, only the 117 points scored by the 1995-96 team in a 117-65 victory over Patten College eclipsed the total.  The most points ever scored by a team in building was 127, set by the Akron Wingfoots AAU team in an exhibition contest against Menlo College during the 2003 Golden Rule Shoot-Out, as they topped Menlo, 127-110.

MOST POINTS IN A GAME: The Yotes have scored 116-or-more points in a game 14 times in school history – which includes both Friday’s total and the 129 points scored by the team on Nov. 10 against Montana-Western.  The top scoring games in school history –

132 – vs. Warner Pacific (1990-91)                                  121 – vs. Wassuk (1985-86)                                116 – vs. Lethbridge (1987-88)

130 – vs. Warner Pacific (1990-91)                                  118 – vs. Southern Oregon (1990-91)                   116 – vs. Concordia (1990-91)

129 – vs. Montana-Western (2006-07)                              117 – vs. Mountain Home AFB (1952-53)             116 – vs. Southern Oregon (1991-92)

125 – vs. Northwest Nazarene (1984-85)                          117 – vs. Carroll (1986-87)                                  116 – vs. Willamette (2006-07)

123 – vs. Lipscomb (1987-88)                                          117 – vs. Patten (1995-96)

YOTES UPSET WESTMINSTER: Ike Stafford scored 21 of his game-high 27 points in the first half, then made the game-winning steal with one second remaining, as the Yotes defeated Westminster College, 83-80 in the finale of the 20th Annual Duane Wolfe Memorial Golden Rule Shoot-Out late Saturday night.  The senior connected on five first-half treys, helping the Yotes use a 16-3 run to close the period to take a 52-39 lead at the break.  ACI would build a 60-45 edge with 14:52 remaining on a Kurt Nielson lay-up, but the Griffins would counter, cutting the lead to 70-69 on a pair of Nate Sanchez free throws.  A long trey by Jordan Jacobs got the margin to 81-80 with five seconds left, but Josh Owen connected on two free throws to build the three point lead.  Lance Barton tossed a pass to midcourt, looking for Jacobs, but it was Stafford stepping in front of the pass to run out the clock and seal the Yotes their ninth Shoot-Out title.  J.R. Maggard had a career-high 13 points, with Nielson also recording a career-high 12 in the win.

ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM: Only one Coyote was named to the All-Tournament team of the Golden Rule Shoot-Out, as Ike Stafford was one of three unanimous selections.  Also appearing on all ballots were Willamette wing Dan Nugent and Eastern Oregon post Neil Fryer.  Westminster claimed the other two spots on the team – guard Danny Reeder and forward Nick Booth.

GOLDEN RULE TITLES: The victory by ACI clinched their ninth Golden Rule title in the 20-year history of the event.  Northwest Nazarene has won five GRSO titles, while Westminster has claimed three.  Central Washington has won a pair of titles, with Willamette winning one.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL (1-3): Lady Yotes notch first win of season, set to host Best Western Lady Yote Classic

COMING UP: host Caldwell Best Western Inn and Suites Lady Yote Classic – Friday, Eastern Oregon vs. Willamette, 5 p.m., ACI vs. Westminster, 7 p.m.; Saturday, Eastern Oregon vs. Westminster, 3 p.m., ACI vs. Willamette, 5 p.m.

LAST WEEK: vs. Great Falls (W 79-50)

YOTES SET TO HOST TOURNAMENT: The five-game homestand for the ACI women’s basketball team continues during Thanksgiving Weekend, as the Lady Yotes host the Caldwell Best Western Inn and Suites Lady Yote Classic.  Game times for the tournament are a bit different than normal – games at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday.

HISTORY OF THE LADY YOTE CLASSIC: 2006 marks the eighth-year that the Lady Yote Classic has occurred at ACI, and it is the fourth year that the Caldwell Best Western Inn and Suites has been the title sponsor.  The tourney began in 1996 and 1997 as the Ste. Chapelle Lady Yote Classic, then reappeared in 2000 as the Lady Yote Holiday Classic.  The 2001 tourney was the Best Inn Lady Yote Classic, while the 2002, along with the 2004 and 2005 tourneys were sponsored by the Best Western.

TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS: The Lady Yotes have an all-time record of 12-2 in their own tournament and have claimed five tournament titles.

1996 – Montana-Western                                    2001 – Albertson and Eastern Oregon

1997 – Albertson                                                2002 – George Fox

2000 – Albertson                                                2004 – Albertson

2005 – Albertson and Eastern Oregon

ABOUT WESTMINSTER: ACI will open up the tournament with a rematch against Westminster of Salt Lake City.  The Lady Yotes met the Griffins (4-3) at their Holiday Inn Tournament two weeks ago, dropping a tough 73-71 decision in which ACI held a nine-point halftime lead.  The NAIA Division I school is led by a trio of guards – Elisa Leader (16.8 ppg, 2.2 apg), Shannon Evans (15.6 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 4.4 apg), and Alicia Haberle (12.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg) – who have led the Griffins to a pair of wins over Evergreen State, a win over ACI, and a solid win over Berry (Ga.).  It is the third-straight year that Westminster has participated in the Lady Yote Classic, going 1-3 during that time (although the one win was later forfeited).  It is the 11th meeting between the teams, with ACI holding a 7-3 all-time series edge.

ABOUT WILLAMETTE: Longtime Northwest Conference foe, Willamette, will be making their first-ever appearance at the Lady Yote Classic.  The Bearcats (0-2) are in rebuilding mode after struggling to a 5-19 record last season and failing to post a league win.  Head coach Bruce Henderson pins his hopes on guard Rebekah Wells (8.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg) and post Keilyn Fujioka (7.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg), but the unit averaged just 42 points a game in losses to St. Mary’s (Minn.) and Wartburg (Iowa) – going just 4-of-24 from three-point range.  Saturday’s game will be the first ever between the Lady Yotes and Bearcats.

ACI AND THE NORTHWEST CONFERENCE: Although ACI was a charter member of the Northwest Conference and participated as a league member from 1926-1977, women’s athletics were not sanctioned league sports during that time.  In fact, the Lady Yotes have faced six of the nine members of the league prior to this weekend.  ACI has a combined record of 14-3 against NWC teams (George Fox, Lewis & Clark, Linfield, Pacific Lutheran, Whitworth, Whitman) since women’s hoop began in 1995, while they have not met Puget Sound, Pacific, or Willamette.  On the flip side, the ACI men’s basketball team has played 670 games against NWC competition, dating back to the 1932-33 season.

ABOUT EASTERN OREGON: The fourth team in the Lady Yote Classic (and the team ACI will not face) is Eastern Oregon, who will compete in the tournament for the seventh time.  The Mountaineers (2-1) opened the season with wins over Walla Walla College and Westminster, before losing to Lewis-Clark State on Saturday.  They are led by All-CCC guard Christie Weaver (17.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg) – who holds the tournament record for three-pointers made in a game, and forward Tiffany Ulmer (9.3 ppg, 7.3 rpg).  It will be the first of two straight trips to Caldwell for Eastern, as the Mountaineers will meet the Lady Yotes a week from Friday in the two teams Cascade Conference opener.

LADY YOTES TOP GREAT FALLS: A 17-3 run to close the first half gave the Lady Yotes all the breathing room they needed, as ACI picked up their first win of the season, a 79-50 victory over the University of Great Falls in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center on Saturday afternoon.  After the Lady Argos cut an early ACI margin to 30-23, the Coyotes forced ten of UGF's 41 turnovers over the five minute stretch to blow the game open at the break.  The Yotes would lead by as many as 43 points in the game.  Whitney Clark (Jerome, Idaho / Northwest Nazarene U.) had a season-high 18 points, with Savannah Ames (Skagway, Alaska / Skagway HS) scoring a career-high 13.  No Coyote played more than 25 minutes in the game, with 14 different players seeing action in the contest.  Laura Keaster led Great Falls with 14 points and nine rebounds, including four three-pointers, but committed six turnovers.

BALANCED ATTACK: With the Lady Yotes high-octane attack, it has led Reagan Rossi to go deeper into her bench that she has had to during her six-year stint as head coach.  In fact, 11 players are averaging six or more minutes per game, nine players are averaging more than 11 minutes a game, while no player is seeing the court for more than 27 minutes a contest.  This has led to a balanced scoring attack – with six different players averaging eight or more points per game – led by post Denise Hill (Eugene, Ore. / Boise State U.) and guard Whitney Clark, who each average 12 a night.

AMONG THE LEAGUE LEADERS: As a team, the Lady Yotes lead the CCC in steals per game (19.5), turnover margin (+6.5), and turnovers forced per game (30.8).  ACI ranks No. 2 in the NAIA in the steals per game category and No. 9 in the NAIA in the turnover margin column.

SUCCESS IN THE ACTIVITIES CENTER: With the victory over Great Falls on Saturday, the Lady Yotes have posted a 91-39 all-time record in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center, good enough for a .700 win percentage.
