The Purple and Gold has come to life for College of Idaho sports fans with the Aug. 8 unveiling of www.yoteathletics.com, the new online home of Coyote Athletics.
Created with the help of SIDEARM Sports – one of the nation’s premier college athletic website developers – YoteAthletics.com will give Coyote fans unprecedented access to the College’s 19 intercollegiate teams.
“YoteAthletics.com will continue to be a work in progress,” said C of I sports information director Mike Safford. “Coyote fans around the country will enjoy more photo and video coverage of our athletic teams on the new site, which we are very excited to offer. We will continue to migrate historical records, player profiles and archives to our new site, and when completed, it will be one of the top small college athletic sites in the nation.”
News stories featuring dynamic pictures, photo galleries, online polls and social media platforms are key components of the new site – along with the opportunity to showcase some of the College’s top athletic sponsors. Fans will be able to receive instant updates with SMS messages, while prospective students and student-athletes will enjoy a sharp, attractive and more informative website.
“SIDEARM Sports hope the supporters, alumni, fans, student-athletes and staff of The College of Idaho enjoy their new athletic website,” said Jeffrey Rubin, President/CEO of SIDEARM Sports. “The site has much to offer, including social integration, mobile enhancements, live stats, fan polls, photo galleries and streaming video. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with The College of Idaho.”
