The political underpinnings and public policy implications of Idaho's ban of Five Wives vodka and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's effort to restrict the sale of sugary drinks are discussed by College of Idaho professors Kerry Hunter (political economy), Jasper LiCalzi (political economy) and Steve Maughan (history).

Immigration is the focus of the latest edition of College of Idaho Insights, with three professors discussing their recent research and classes dealing with a variety of issues connected to migration.

The implications of Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law for civil society are discussed in the newest edition of College of Idaho Insights by history professor Steve Maughan and political economy professors Kerry Hunter and Jasper LiCalzi.

The David and Blanche Rosenthal Gallery of Art on The College of Idaho campus in Caldwell is pleased to announce the opening of Servare: To Serve and Preserve, an exhibition of art created by C of I faculty, staff and friends. The show is open to the public free of charge through April 14. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. An opening reception will be held at 4:30 p.m. March 30.
