Former College of Idaho baseball player Izaac Garsez has been called up to play for the Boise Hawks. The Hawks, in conjunction with their parent club, the Chicago Cubs, announced the move prior to their July 17 home game versus the Yakima Bears. Garsez, an outfielder, was promoted to replace Bijan Rademacher, who was promoted to the Peoria Chiefs. Garsez is expected to be in the starting lineup on Tuesday night.
