The College of Idaho's opening Northwest Collegiate Ski Conference qualifier, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Hoodoo Ski Area in Sisters, Ore., has been cancelled due to a lack of snow.

The Coyotes, along with the eight other NWCSC teams, are hopeful that conditions will improve in time for next weekend's qualifier at Brundage Mountain.

The Hoodoo qualifier is expected to be made up at a location to be announced, Jan. 28-29.
