Lady Yotes Take Bronze in SB-X

The College of Idaho snowboard team placed third overall in today's Snowboard Cross competition at the USCSA National Championships at Sunday River Resort in Bethel, Maine.
Both C of I competitors advanced out of the morning qualifying heats to compete in the 16-person elimination bracket - with Sarah Silva bowing out in the quarterfinals, while McKinley Carbone earned All-America honors by winning the consolation final.
Westminster College won the team title, followed by Sierra Nevada College, and the Lady Yotes.
In women's Skier Cross, the Lady Yotes Tricia Randazzo qualified for the 16-person elimination bracket, but was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
The Coyote men's freestyle team competed in the Skier Cross - but results have not be published by the USCSA.
The freestyle teams will compete in the slopestyle competition tomorrow, with all athletes competing in the Halfpipe on Saturday.
