Three College of Idaho softball players were among the 308 student-athletes honored today as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, announced prior to the semifinals of the NAIA National Championships in Orange Beach, Ala.

Junior Molly Mills and seniors Nikki Shumway and Jordan Huttash were honored for having being at least a junior in academic status and maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better at The C of I.

A total of 24 C of I student-athletes have been honored this season (13 in the fall, three in the winter, eight this spring) - with track & field, baseball, and men's golf yet to be announced.
