Skinner earns CCC Pitcher of the Week 

College of Idaho right-hander Nickayla Skinner was honored today as Red Lion-Cascade Conference Pitcher of the Week, announced by the league office in La Grande, Ore.

The sophomore, from Mountain Home, earned the honor for the second-sttraight week, going 2-0 with a save in three appearances at the Northwest Cup in Oregon.  Skinner struck out 13 batters in the rain in a 2-1 victory over Whitworth on Friday, and after injurynig an ankle against British Columbia, returned in a relief role on Sunday, tossing a scoreless inning to log a save against Lewis & Clark, then throwing a 1-2-3 seventh to pick up a win against Willamette.

The Lady Yotes open their home season this weekend, hosting Dickinson State in a four-game series.
