garsez named ccc player of the week 

College of Idaho outfielder Izaac Garsez was named Red Lion-Cascade Conference Player of the Week, released this afternoon by the league office in La Grande, Ore.

The senior, from Caldwell, helped the Coyotes to a 3-0 record last week - recording a trio of multi-hit games.  Garsez went 2-for-4 with two RBI in a 5-1 win over Northwest Nazarene, then had five hits in six at bats Sunday in a sweep of Simpson, recording two doubles and two RBI.  It marks the sixth time in his career that Garsez has been named Player of the Week.

The Coyotes play host to rival Northwest Nazarene on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
