thurston earns medalist honors vs. NNU 

Tyler Thurston carded a 32 on the back nine to complete a one-under 71, earning medalist honors this afternoon in a head-to-head dual match with Northwest Nazarene at River Bend Golf Course.

NNU won the dual by a 307-318 margin over the Yotes, as the Crusaders carded the next six best scores - including a three-over 75 from Zach Grunig, and 77's from Brock Sargent, Justin McAfee, and Nick Gibson.

No other C of I golfer recorded a score in the 70's, as Kyle DeLorey and Austen Giesie each shot 81.

Both C of I teams return to action a week from Monday at the Concordia Invitational.
