thurston named ccc Golfer of the week 

College of Idaho senior Tyler Thurston was honored today as Red Lion-Cascade Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, announced this afternoon by the league office in La Grande, Ore.

The native of Eagle earned the accolade for the second time in his career after earning medalist honors in last week's dual match with rival Northwest Nazarene.  Thurston shot a one-under 71, including a four-under 32 on the back-nine to lead all players in the Thursday match.

The C of I and NNU will meet again on Wednesday for a return match, this time at Centennial Golf Course in Nampa.
