young named daktronics-naia scholar-athlete 

College of Idaho senior Tyler Young was honored today as a member of the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team, released prior to the national semifinals at the national championships in Point Lookout, Mo.

Young, from Leesburg, Va., was one of 106 student-athletes honored for being at least a junior in academic standing and maintaining a 3.50 cumulative grade point average at their current school.

He was one of two C of I players honored earlier this season as a Cascade Conference All-Academic Team selection and is one of three C of I student-athletes to earn honors from the NAIA this winter (Meghan Hughes - Women's Basketball, Matt Malek - Men's Swimming).
