skinner earns 3rd CCC weekly award of 2012 

College of Idaho sophomore Nickayla Skinner was honored as this week's Red Lion-Cascade Conference Pitcher of the Week, announced this afternoon by the league office in La Grande, Ore.

The Mountain Home native had an outstanding weekend in the circle, helping the Lady Yotes to a four-game sweep of NAIA indepedent, British Columbia.  Skinner went 2-0 with two saves in four appearances, recording a 1.17 ERA.

She currently leads the CCC in strikeouts, ranking second in the NAIA in saves.  She has broken the career-record for saves and is tied for the single-season record with four.  It is the third time this season and fourth time in her career that she has been honored by the CCC.

The Lady Yotes return to action on Saturday, hosting No. 23 ranked Corban at 11 a.m.
