lady yotes lose at puget sound
The College of Idaho women's tennis team opened a quick two-match road trip with a 9-0 loss at the University of Puget Sound, tonight in Tacoma, Wash.
The Loggers (6-8) won all three doubles' points, with the Yotes putting up a great effort at No. 3, as Tanya Greenwood and Nicole Cammann fought to the end in an 8-6 loss to Holly Dixon and Nina Ho. Shae Stults moved up to No. 1 in the singles' ladder and played well in the second set, falling 6-1, 7-5 to Maddison Holtz. UPS won the remaining matches all in straight sets.
The C of I concludes their trip with a 9 a.m. match vs. Bellevue CC - also at the UPS Tennis Pavilion.
