garsez named CCC Player of the Week for 3rd time 

For the third time this season, Izaac Garsez was honored as Red Lion-Cascade Conference Player of the Week, announced this afternoon by the league office in La Grande, Ore.

The senior, from Caldwell, helped the Coyotes to a four-game sweep of Oregon Tech, going 8-for-16 at the plate, with nine runs scored and six RBI.  Garsez broke his own single-season record for triples, pushing the mark to 11 - leading all NAIA players.  He also pitched two scoreless innings, striking out four.

The C of I hits the road this weekend for Saturday and Sunday doubleheaders at Patten University - with the games being played at Laney College in Oakland, Calif.
