C of I wins five events at EOU OPEN 

College of Idaho athletes won five events at today's Eastern Oregon Open in La Grande, Ore.

Competing less than 24 hours after the John Knight Twilight in Monmouth, Ore., the Lady Yotes picked up three wins in the field events - as Audrey Youren won the high jump (5-1), Hailey Bull the triple jump (34-8 1/2), and Jessica Aguilar won the shot put (36-9 3/4).  Diamond Mitchell had a pair of seconds in the sprints - clocking a 12.45 in the 100-meters and 25.88 in the 200-meters, while Lexis Lange broke the school record in the pole vault (9-0 1/4).

The Coyote men picked up an individual win, as Nick Hampton earned the victory in the 400-meters (51.83), while running a leg on the winning 4x400-relay (3:24.86).

The C of I will compete in a pair of meets next week - a handful of runners heading to Eugene, Ore., for the Oregon Relays, while the rest of the squad will race in the Northwest Nazarene Open.
