lady yotes finish 3rd at NAIA qualifier 

Baylee Borchers shot a final round 74 to lead The College of Idaho on the final day of the NAIA West Grouping Qualifier at Sycuan Resort in El Cajon, Calif.

Overall, the Lady Yotes strugged for a second-straight day, carding a team score of 330 to finish third in the field of six teams.  Concordia took the title with a score of 628, earning the automatic berth to the NAIA National Championships, while host Point Loma Nazarene surged past the Yotes into second with a score of 655 - eight strokes clear of The C of I.

Trish Gibbens, who had a share of the overall lead after Round 1, recorded a final round 80 to finish fourth overall, while Borchers finished in a tie for eighth.

The Lady Yotes will learn their fate for the NAIA National Championships later this week when the final Top-25 poll is released.
