LADY YOTES STOP L&C And Willamette 

Kristen Haugen drove in four runs in the opener and Nikki Shumway won Game 2 with a walk-off RBI double, as The College of Idaho closed out play at the Northwest Cup with a 10-7 victory over Lewis & Clark College and a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Willamette University in Clackamas, Ore.

The Lady Yotes (9-3) equaled their best start in program history with the wins and finished tournament play with a 4-2 record.

Men's Basketball

yotes extend playoff streak to 15 

All five Warner Pacific starters scored in double-figures, as the No. 12 ranked Knights closed out the regular-season with an 87-80 victory over The College of Idaho, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

Women's Basketball

LADY YOTES EARN #2 SEED IN CCC TOURNEY

Felicity Jones' 10-foot jumper with just over a minute to play sparked a 10-3 run to close the contest, as The College of Idaho completed their first perfect Cascade Conference season at home since 2001, defeating Warner Pacific, 62-56, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

PAVEY knocks in six in C of I win 

Kendall Pavey tied a school record with six RBI in a Game 2 victory over Pacific University, as The College of Idaho split two games today at the Northwest Cup in Clackamas, Ore.

The Yotes (7-3) lost the opening game to George Fox, 5-4, but rebounded for a 10-8 victory over PU.

Tennis

both C of I teams lose on the road 

Both College of Idaho tennis teams dropped matches this afternoon - as the Coyote men fell 7-1 at George Fox, with the Lady Yotes losing a 9-0 decision at Lewis-Clark State.

The Coyote men opened their match with a bang as Chenjerai Simpson and Mark Malmstrom won at No. 1 doubles for the second-straight day, defeating Preston Mann and Drew Milton, 8-3.  In singles play, The C of I was in many of the matches, with Simpson losing at No. 1 to Mann 7-5, 6-4, and Malmstrom losing 6-4, 6-2 to Shawn Aldrich.

yotes keep playoff hopes alive with win 

Rodney Delgardo hit a trio of three-pointers in a 19-3 run to open the game, as The College of Idaho kept their playoff hopes alive with a rousing 80-66 victory over Concordia University, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

Women's Basketball

lady yotes beat concordia, 10-1 at home 

Felicity Jones scored 13 points and Tina Fakahafua grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds, as The College of Idaho kept their Cascade Conference title hopes alive with a 54-46 victory over Concordia University, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

Tennis

yotes play well in 7-2 loss at PLU 

The College of Idaho men's tennis team played their best match of the season in a losing effort, dropping a 7-2 decision to Pacific Lutheran, inside the Sprinker Recreation Center in Tacoma, Wash.

The Coyotes (0-4) used a win by Mark Malmstrom and Chenjerai Simpson at No. 1 doubles to earn the early advantage - and played competitive in the remaining two doubles' positions, despite losses.

YOTES SPLIT GAMES IN RAINY Portland

The College of Idaho experienced both ends of a seventh inning home run this afternoon at the Northwest Cup in rainy Clackamas, Ore., as the Lady Yotes defeated Whitworth University, 2-1, before losing a tough 8-6 decision to the University of British Columbia.

Nikki Shumway cracked a walk-off solo homer in the bottom of the seventh inning to win Game 1, while UBC centerfielder Brittany Meyer hit a two-out, three-run homer in the seventh to give the T-Birds the Game 2 victory.

Baseball

C of I-Willamette series pushed back one day

The College of Idaho and Willamette University have announced that their weekend baseball series will be pushed back 24 hours, due to expected inclement weather in the Treasure Valley.

The four-game series between the Yotes and Bearcats was supposed to start Saturday afternoon, but with rain and snow in the forecast, the two head coaches decided to begin the series on Sunday.
