late hR sinks lady Yotes in Game 2  

Nickayla Skinner tossed a two-hit shutout in Game 1, but a late Brooke Davis home run broke a scoreless tie, as The College of Idaho and Northwest Christian split a Cascade Conference doubleheader at Symms Field.

The Yotes (20-6, 3-3 CCC) won 8-0 in five innings in the opener, with the Beacons taking a 1-0 decision in the late game.

hodges, garsez homer in 5-4 win over UBC 

Izaac Garsez went 3-for-4 including his third home run of the season and Tanner Hodges added four RBI as The College of Idaho hung on for a 5-4 victory over No. 20 British Columbia in Game 1 of a four-game NAIA West Grouping series at Wolfe Field.

skinner dominant in split with concordia 

Despite a banner day in the circle and at the plate by Nickayla Skinner, The College of Idaho squandered opportunities late in Game 2, as the Lady Yotes split a doubleheader with Concordia University at Symms Field.

The No. 22 ranked Lady Yotes (19-5, 2-2 CCC) won the opener, 4-0, but dropped the nightcap, 6-5.

weekend softball scheduled altered again 

The weekend softball schedule at Symms Field has been altered dramatically, due to weather issues across the Cascade Conference.

Eastern Oregon's home diamond at Anderson Field is unplayable, with the Mountaineers striking a deal with the Yotes to also host their league games this weekend in Caldwell.

Thus, Friday's doubleheader between the Lady Yotes and Concordia will begin at 1 p.m. (instead of the originially scheduled 2 p.m.), with Eastern's twinbill with Northwest Christian to follow at 5 p.m.

c of I Closes out California trip 

Both College of Idaho tennis teams dropped matches on the final day of their Spring Break trip to California, the men losing 9-0 at Sonoma State, while the women lost a tough 5-4 decision at DeAnza CC.
