whitman 3-Way turns into exhibition

The Three-Way golf dual between The College of Idaho, Lewis-Clark State, and Whitman College was deemed a exhibition match for the three teams, as fierce winds enveloped the Wildhorse Resort Golf Course outside Pendleton, Ore.

Sustained winds of 30-40 miles per hour, with gusts to 60 made play almost impossible (a 5-to-6 club wind on some holes) - forcing the three coaches to turn the match, which featured four nationally-ranked teams, into a basic practice round.
