Austin Basterrechea broke a 38-year-old school record in the long jump to highlight The College of Idaho's track team on Day 1 of the Cascade Conference Championships in Klamath Falls, Ore.

thurston shoots 73, yotes finish 11th 

Tyler Thurston closed out his collegiate career with a one-over 73, leading The College of Idaho on the final day of the 2012 NAIA West Grouping Championships at Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, Calif.

The senior was tied for the second-lowest round of the day, helping the Yotes shoot a team score of 317 - their lowest total of the tournament.  The C of I finished 11th overall with a 54-hole total of 974,

It was a rough day for The College of Idaho men's golf team at the 2012 NAiA West Grouping Qualifier, as the Coyotes sit in 11th-place after 36-holes at Black Horse Golf Club in Seaside, Calif.

For the sixth time in program history, The College of Idaho baseball team has earned a berth in the NAIA National Championships - as the Coyotes will head to Azusa, Calif., for the Opening Round Tournament, hosted by Azusa Pacific.

menlo wins naia west tournament with 5-4 victory 

A Michael Brandi RBI single in the top of the tenth inning plated the winning run, as Menlo College defeated The College of Idaho, 5-4, to win the 2012 NAIA West Grouping Championship in Portland, Ore.

The Oaks (29-25) won the title for the first time ever, joining the 2002 Coyotes and the 2009 British Columbia teams as squad winning the title through the losers' bracket.  Menlo clinches their first-ever berth in the NAIA National Championships, while the Coyotes must wait to see if they will receive an at-large bid.

For the second-straight year, College of Idaho outfielder Izaac Garsez was named the NAIA West Grouping Player of the Year, announced today at the Verizon Wireless NAIA West Tournament in Portland, Ore.

menlo forces winner-take-all title game 

James Jensen tossed a five-hit shutout, as Menlo College forced a winner-take-all title game at the 2012 Verizon Wireless NAIA West Tournament, stopping The College of Idaho, 1-0, in Portland, Ore.

The two teams will play tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. (PT) with a berth in the NAIA National Championships Opening Round on the line.
