three lady yotes named to All-CCC TEAM 

Three College of Idaho players were honored today as members of the 2012 All-Cascade Conference softball team, announced at the start of the CCC Championships in Klamath Falls, Ore.

Nickayla Skinner was honored for the second-straight season, while Molly Mills and Nikki Shumway were honored as first-team picks for the first time.

Izaac Garsez went 3-for-4 with four runs scored and Todd Griffiths tossed a complete game, as The College of Idaho moved into the title game of the Verizon Wireless NAIA West Tournament, defeating Menlo College, 9-2, in Portland, Ore.

lady yotes earn berth to NAIA Championships 

For the first time in program history, The College of Idaho women’s golf team will play in the NAIA National Championships, as the Lady Yotes earned an at-large berth to the annual event in Greeneville, Tenn.

hodges, dodd named academic all-district 

A pair of College of Idaho baseball players were named to the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 team, released this afternoon.

Shortstop Tanner Hodges and first-baseman Jesse Dodd were among the 12 players honored in the College Division – encompassing schools from Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

yotes open TOURNEY with 7-5 win over CAVS 

Todd Griffiths singled home the go-ahead run in the seventh inning, then worked out of a bases loaded, no out jam in the ninth to pick up his sixth save, as The College of Idaho won a 7-5 victory over host Concordia University in Game 3 of the Verizon Wireless-NAIA West Tournament in Portland, Ore.

The Coyotes (37-16) will meet Menlo College tomorrow at Noon (PT) with a berth in Friday's championship game on the line.
