The sweep by the No. 21 ranked Lady Yotes (27-11, 10-8 CCC) kept the squad in the hunt for the final two berths in the Cascade Conference Tournament with just six games remaining in the regular-season.

lady yotes shoot record 308 on final day

Led by a pair of 74s from Trish Gibbens and Melissa Clausen, The College of Idaho women’s golf team carded their lowest team score in program history on the final day of the 2012 C of I Invitational at River Bend Golf Course in Wilder.

The Lady Yotes shot 308 as a team – seven shots better than rival Concordia, two shots clear of their previous best (310), recorded against Boise State last fall.  Unfortunately, a 39-stroke lead by CU after Day 1 helped the Cavaliers to the team title.
