Softball

SKINNER NAMED CCC PITCHER OF THE WEEK 

College of Idaho right-hander Nickayla Skinner was honored today as Red Lion-Cascade Conference Pitcher of the Week, announced by the league office in La Grande, Ore.

The sophomore, from Mountain Home, had a dominating performance at the Simpson Invitational in California, going 2-0 with a 0.95 ERA in four appearances, allowing just 11 hits and striking out 35 batters.

Baseball

DODD NAMED CCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

College of Idaho first-baseman Jesse Dodd was named Red Lion-Cascade Conference Player of the Week, released this afternoon by the league office in La Grande, Ore.

The junior, from Eagle, had a monster weekend at the plate in the four-game sweep of Whitman, going 8-for-11 with six doubles and five RBI.  Dodd had two doubles in each of the first three games of the series and finished the weekend with a 1.273 slugging percentage.

The Coyotes return to action this weekend, hosting Willamette University in a four-game series.

HOLT NAMED CCC RUNNER OF THE WEEK 

College of Idaho All-American Hillary Holt was honored today as Red Lion-Cascade Conference Women's Indoor Track Runner of the Week, announced by the league office in La Grande, Ore.

The sophomore, from Boise, established a pair of school records and hit two NAIA "A" qualifying marks at this past weekend's Boise State Team Challenge in Nampa.
