I’ve gotten lost. I think it started sometime a little before Thanksgiving. I feel strange saying that a lot’s going on at the moment, (because when is that not true for anybody?) but it’s the only way I can honestly express how I’ve been seeing life.
Hello to all of the loyal Yote fans from Sioux City, Iowa!
We left Saturday morning with anticipation and excitement for a 20-hour bus ride that would take us to the place we’ve worked all year to reach. As our journey ended and we drove off of the freeway, seeing the Tyson Event Center in the distance, we had the confidence that good things would happen to us this week.
Well here is where I write about one of my hardest classes in college so far. French 1. I know it sounds silly. Having a 100-level class be one of my hardest classes isn’t really something to advertise. However, learning a new language is never easy.
Here comes Thanksgiving! I am SO EXCITED! This is my first trip home since school started and I am beyond excited! I am ecstatic! Thrilled! HAPPY! And any other synonym you can think of! I am going to go home and sleep! Then eat! Then sleep some more ! And SHOP!
Well, the Lady Yotes are going to Nationals! We’ve gone through many ups and downs this season, but we are all super excited to show off our stuff at the NAIA National Tournament in Sioux City, Iowa next week.
The C of I is such a cozy, providing campus. Sometimes (well, pretty much everyday) you forget you are tucked away amongst a bigger world. Granted, Caldwell, also referred to as “Farm City”, tends to keep to itself. Yes, an occasional “townie” can be seen walking their dog through campus, or at a campus event/outreach activity, yet for the most part, Caldwell keeps it to a minimum.
As the days get shorter, and the air grows colder, school can get rather taxing. Getting out of bed in time for an 8 a.m. chemistry lab three days a week, I can tell you, is almost equivalent to death. I have compiled a list of a few ways to keep warm this winter. They are tips I seem to live by, and would encourage others to do the same:
This is the story of a little girl, this little girl wanted to be an actress, so she took Joe Golden’s Fundamentals of Acting Class. Best decision, ever! Sorry for the strange introduction, but I just wanted to make it more DRAMATIC!
My cousin, Cameron is in the fourth or fifth grade (am I bad cousin because I can’t remember?), and was assigned to write a research paper on a college. He chose… you guessed it, The College of Idaho! This is cool for a couple of reasons:
SO, I noticed that I have been blabbering to you guys about everything and how campus life is but I haven’t been mentioning anything about classes. Which is like the most important thing ever! SO, I am going to start every post now with a different class each post. Stick with me; this week lets start with Western Civ because I have a fun story for it!
This is a picture of my timeline! It consists of everything that we have learned since the begiinng of class. It took me around six hours to make! Strangely however I had a lot of fun doing it, and the pay off was worth it.
