Cute Bunny Photos, and Photos of Rocks

So a few weeks ago, In the chicken coop, I discovered baby rabbits. In 3 weeks time, those creatures transformed from small naked mole rat look alikes to cute balls of fur. Here are some pictures:

Also, I have started making  a sculpture, if you would call it that, in my front yard. Here again, are some pictures:

Wanna Jump into the Jump Creek?

One of the things that I like about spending summer here in Caldwell is that fact that I am answerable to no one, but myself. Normally, this kind of a situation would lead to wild shenanigans and escapades that would rival those fictionalised on the silver screen. However, being a UWC (United World Colleges) alumni, and now studying here at C of I, I have pretty much lived on my own for the last four years. I like to think that I am much more sedate now, and most of my activities are more productive.

I Will Post Enigmatic Statements to Intrigue You. All The Time.

So my name is Rahul Sharma, and this year, I will be a junior at The College of Idaho. I am a Fine Art major (a really fancy title for someone who spends a lot of money and ends up with the same skill set as a graffiti artist or a house painter). I feel necessary to give y'all a brief introduction, just to put things in perspective. I am from Kashmir, which, depending upon your political, cultural and national affiliation is either a part of India, Pakistan, China or Taiwan.

Goodbye, C of I!

I did it!  I graduated!  It was pretty surreal to walk through campus in a cap and gown, only to realize that it would be my last time as a student.

Thank You!

The summer is about to begin and I am super excited! But before reading, sleeping and relaxing time for three months I would like to take this opportunity to give a few thank you’s for this year.

Workouts for the average Yotie

These are the three best College of Idaho workouts destined towards the end of the year:

1) Moving out!  Not only are your arms super “swoll” by your eighth trip to the car, but when you are lucky enough to live on third floor Finney (lucky me…) your legs feel the burn, too.  The mini fridge takes a lot of dexterity and nimbleness taking corners, which is an awesome combination with the forty pounds of metal. So sweet, so sweet.

Yote Pride Day

In January, I discovered a new passion.  I bought a membership to the Caldwell YMCA, which is about a mile from campus, and found that I loved going to the group exercise classes.  I kept coming back for one in particular - a Cycling class at 10:15 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  The instructor, Ann, was fun, energetic and very motivating.  She played a variety music that suited everyone's taste.  I quickly noticed that she had a consistent group of regulars who would attend each of her classes - and I soon became one of them.

The Best Event on Campus

This is top secret information.  I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I discovered a little known fact about C of I...

A year full of memories

Well here it comes; the end of the year. Students were packing up their rooms and heading home all last week. Cleaning out the dorms is a passage. Just like “striking” a set at the end of a show is to help you put away the memories and help you move on, moving out of the dorms for the summer is a way of reminiscing on the past year and packing up those memories and moving on.
