Tennis duo honored as NAIA Scholar-Athletes

A pair of College of Idaho tennis players were honored today as Daktronics NAIA All-America Scholar-Athletes, released this afternoon by the national office in Kansas City, Mo.

Junior James Collet and senior Molly Leadbetter were honored for being at least a junior academic status, while maintaining a 3.50 or better cumulative grade point average at The C of I.

A total of 25 C of I student-athletes have been honored with national academic awards, with men’s golf, baseball, softball, and track and field yet to be tabulated.

Netters end season with sweep of TVCC

Both College of Idaho tennis teams closed out the 2011 season this afternoon with victories over Treasure Valley Community College, the men winning 4-3, with the women winning 7-0, at the Laura Moore Cunningham Courts.

The Coyote men finish the season 0-10 in counting matches and 3-1 in exhibitions, while the Lady Yotes finish 0-9 in counters, but a perfect 4-0 in exhibitions.
