Frank Specht Scholarship Spaghetti Dinner
Specht Scholarship Fundraiser
This event is a chance for alumni to return to Caldwell and honor beloved history professor Franklin Specht during the annual spaghetti dinner that raises scholarship money for two current history majors at the College. Specht, who taught at the C of I for 32 years, inspired a love for history among hundreds of students who took his classes or traveled with him to Europe. Attendees are sure to hear wonderful words of wisdom from Frank, so don’t miss out! The event will take place at Bitner Vineyards.
Click here to enjoy a YouTube video from the event two years ago. The cost for this dinner is $10 per person, which includes spaghetti served by professors Steve Maughan and Jasper LiCalzi, salad, and garlic bread. All proceeds will be donated to the Specht Scholarship, but not before Frank matches the raised amount.
