Orma J. Smith Museum monthly workday

The College of Idaho's Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History hosts its monthly volunteer workday, where students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the College and the O.J. Smith Museum are invited to help organize the museum's collections, set up new exhibits and help with general maintenance and care of the museum, located in the basement of Boone Hall. The workdays typically last form 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and all participants are treated to a free lunch and lunchtime seminar exploring topics of interest to the museum. The April lunchtime seminar is “Cuterebra bot fly biology: Hosts, flies and parasitism," presented by Dr. Craig Baird of the O.J. Smith Museum. For more information, visit
