Idaho Commission on the Arts  The Idaho Commission on the Arts oversees the development of arts in Idaho. The Commission does this through sponsorship of education, community events throughout the state, support of individual artists, and various other endeavors.

The National Endowment for the Arts  "The arts reflect the past, enrich the present, and imagine the future. The National Endowment for the Arts, an investment in America's living cultural heritage, serves the public good by nurturing the expression of human creativity, supporting the cultivation of community spirit, and fostering the recognition and appreciation of the excellence and diversity of our nation's artistic accomplishments." (statement of mission from their website)

Idaho Humanities Council  “Deepening understanding of human experience by connecting people with ideas” is the purpose of this agency which sponsors leading persons in the humanities and provides grants to teachers and communities.

Rosenthal Art Gallery The Rosenthal Gallery of Art is the small venue art gallery on the Albertson College of Idaho campus. It has 6 shows a year, including an exhibition of the school's senior art students and an exhibition of art from various Canyon County art students.

Boise Art Museum  BAM is Idaho's premier visual arts institution, founded nearly seventy years ago as a partnership between the City of Boise and the Boise Art Association, a group of dedicated volunteers whose aim was to offer arts programming and education to the Boise community. Today, BAM continues to expand upon its mission "to promote appreciation, enjoyment and understanding of the visual arts to a broad public audience" through collection, exhibition and educational programming. Arts Northwest serves presenters and artists in the Idaho, Washington, Oregon and other states. Its mission is: To maintain a communications network among presenters of performing arts events; To provide services to Northwest presenters, which enhance their professional and booking capabilities to present performances of regional, national, and international significance to Northwest audiences; To promote booking opportunities for artists that reside in the Northwest to tour within and outside the Northwest region.

Seattle Mime Theatre The Romp, Seattle Mime Theatre's web page, offers information on the group, including schedules and contact information.

Missoula Children's Theatre Offering opportunities for children from all over the country to participate in a professional production, igniting a life-long passion for the theatre. The web page contains information of coming events as well as the company's mission and goals.

National Ballet Theatre
Browse photos, search coming engagements, and learn about the history of the company, as well as read the biographies of the performers.

Cultural Artifacts
The Museum of Ephemeral Cultural Artifacts offers online galleries of any number of pop-culture arts, including pinball designs, spray paint (wall) art, and even see the featured Robot of the Month exhibit.

Alt.Culture

This website offers a wide array of different artists, from Paul Cézanne to "famous paintings", as well as offers a many, many links to various other sites on the web that also have content related to art.

Portland Taiko
Portland Taiko is a premiere North American taiko ensemble. Taiko (the Japanese word for drum and the name of the art form) has its roots in ancient Japanese tradition. Today, taiko is a dynamic and evolving performing art combining rhythm, movement, energy, and culture into a single art form. Through artistic excellence and innovation in taiko, they affirm Asian American pride, inspire audiences, build community, and educate about their culture and heritage.
