Join the fun of over one million audience members who have heard the choir in their travels around the world--to say nothing of the many millions who have heard them on TV and radio. The Chorus has made appearances in Moscow, Leningrad and Kiev in the former Soviet Union; Bucharest, Sibiu and Iasi in Romania; Vienna and Salzburg in Austria; Venice, Florence, Assisi and Rome in Italy; Grachen and Zermatt in Switzerland; Friesing and Erlangen in Germany; Tokyo, Yokohama, Sapporo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan, plus numerous tours in Canada and the United States.

The chorus has sung with many glittering celebrities, among them Bob Hope, Victor Borge, Steve Allen, “Tennessee” Ernie Ford, Henry Winkler, Della Reese, and Melissa Manchester. They have been featured with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the William Hall Master Chorale, crossing the boundaries of pop and classical. This group has been a favorite of presenters everywhere.

The boys, ages 8-15, come from 20 cities around Orange County in California. Their headquarters is in Costa Mesa. The chorus is a non-profit organization open to boys of all races, faiths, creeds, nationalities and ethnic origins. The chorus is not affiliated with or supported by any church, school or government entity. Their funding comes from concert fees, donations, album sales, grants and fund-raisers. Boys are enthusiastic and appreciative of the skills they learned as a member of the chorus. Many now have positions of leadership in society.

The program in Caldwell will be A SALUTE TO AMERICAN AND HER MUSIC. It includes selections from popular Broadway musicals, medleys featuring the music of Duke Ellington and George M. Cohan, “toe-tappin” tunes from the Roaring Twenties, southern melodies, America’s college fight songs, country/western tunes, a moving rendition of “America the Beautiful,” and a stirring tribute to John Philip Sousa. In an acknowledgement of traditional boychoir repertoire, their programs also include works by J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart and Charles Gounod. The program is staged with energetic movement and special lighting.
