Below is a complete listing of the 2005-2006 season of Caldwell Fine Arts. All performances are at 7:30 pm in Jewett Auditorium, unless otherwise noted.


September 21 (Thursday)

>  Timothy Mooney Repertory Theatre 

     Moliere Than Thou    MORE
“Moliere Lives!” Tim Mooney transports us to Paris of 1671 and introduces us to many unforgettable characters.

October 17  (Tuesday)

>  Side Street Strutters, Disneyland Jazz Band     MORE
Enjoy New Orleans Dixieland and Blues and Big Band Swing. Have fun! Colorful costumes, tap dancing, vocal selections and novelty numbers add pizzazz.  

November 9  (Thursday)

>  Ballet Folklorico “Quetzalli” de Veracruz     MORE
Color this fiesta all shades of fun, especially with music and dance from Veracruz, the birthplace of the world famous “La Bamba." Back by popular demand. 

November 28  (Tuesday) 

>  American Chamber Players    MORE
"They appealed to the heart and the head, offering a warm, seductively luxurious sound and an impressive precision and unity of purpose...The American Chamber Players have established standards of performance equal to any in the world."

December 14  (Thursday)

 Ballet Idaho's Nutcracker    MORE
Toni Pimble, artistic director

Get into the holiday spirit and embrace a family tradition! Local youth as mice, angels, party children, ladybugs and beetles add charm to the professional company of twenty-six dancers.
 

January 8 (Monday)

>  Idaho Showcase     MORE
Keiko Forrey’s passion for the cello began at age 10. She is now a doctoral student and teaching assistant at Eastman School of Music. Pianist Robyn Wells graduated from Caldwell High School, Pacific Lutheran and Miami University. She teaches at Albertson College and in her Meridian studio. An Albertson College string quartet will complete the program.
 

February 6 (Tuesday)

>  Chu-Fang Huang, Piano     MORE
“Her ability to quickly soar from delicate and sensitive phrases to bold and expressive ones is quite remarkable.”

February 23-24

>  Missoula Children's Theater Robin Hood     MORE 
MCT performances have delighted and amazed audiences for nearly four decades. Folk dances precede the performance.

March 29 (Thursday) 

>  The Celtic Tenors (with Shannon Deidre, soprano)    MORE
The Celtic Tenors have become one of the most successful Classical Crossover acts in Ireland, United Kingdom, Germany and the U.S.

April 19 (Thursday)

Pirates of Penzance     MORE 
Direct from England, the Carl Rosa Company brings authentic Gilbert & Sullivan to the stage. The brilliant satiric wit and lively tunes provide a musical delight which spans the generations.
