Boise Front Butterfly Count Day
This year the butterfly count will take place on Sunday July 12, 2009. Butterfly identification training takes place on Saturday June 6 during Museum Workday and the Museum in Caldwell. You can attend the count without attending the identification training. It's a whole day of fun in the sun: 8:45 am to 6 pm as we count butterflies from Cottonwood Creek in the lower elevations to the top of More's Mountain with three stops in between. Come to one or both! Pack a lunch, water, bug net, and day hiking gear and bring the family on one of the best family science adventures of the year. Contact Paul Castrovillo for all the details.
