Monthly Volunteer Workdays and Lunchtime Presentations

One Saturday every month, the Museum holds a Museum Workday. Members of the public are invited to visit the Museum and work with Museum staff on a variety of projects. There's something to interest everyone!

Every workday, members of the public are invited to attend a free lunchtime research seminar.  Lunch is not provided, but attendees are welcome to bring their own food.

Seminars are held in Boone Hall on the campus of The College of Idaho. Rooms vary, so please check at the Museum. Entry is through the Museum, using the door at the bottom of the stairs on the west end of the building. The Museum is locked from ~12:00-1:30 to allow Museum staff to attend the seminar, so people wanting to attend the seminar should enter the building before noon.

Workdays are normally the first Saturday of each month, but are moved to the second Saturday if the first Saturday falls on a holiday weekend.

Contact Bill Clark, (208-375-8605, email) or Dave Ward (208-888-6008, email), if you would like to volunteer.
