Commencement 2013

No tickets are necessary. 

As the event is held out of doors we recommend bringing appropriate weather related items such as hats, sunscreen, or umbrellas. A light reception follows Commencement.

Graduate lineup begins at 9:00 am in the JAAC

Cap and gowns/Announcements 

To participate in the ceremonies, all graduates must wear appropriate academic regalia (cap and gown).

The last day to order was May 3.

If you are graduating with honors, or a member of an approved student organization, you are welcome to wear cords (must be approved by the Registrar's Office and must be gold) or stoles signifing those achievements.  The College does not provide these items, so we recommend ordering them online. 

Graduation announcements will be arriving the end of March in the Bookstore for purchase. If you prefer personalized graduation announcements, you may order those directly from http://www.Jostens.com.  If you have any questions please contact the Bookstore or the Registrar’s Office.

Pictures and Videos 

As a public college event, The College of Idaho will be recording media in the form of photography, audio, and video.  This media may be reproduced and used for educational, illustration, promotion, advertising, and trade associated with the College.

Ceremony: Arrangements have been made with Pete Grady Photography to photograph each graduate during the ceremony.  You will be under no obligation to purchase, but information will be available at the ceremony.

Family:

Family members and friends are encouraged to stay in their seats throughout the ceremony. Due to certain regulations and safety standards, the aisles must remain clear; therefore, no one will be allowed to block the aisles to take pictures during any part of the ceremony.
